What do the Peacemakers play and sound like?
John Park gives his thoughts: The Peacemakers deliver a raw mix of sounds the likes of George Thorogood, B.B. king and the Black Crows. However, our lyrics describe a relationship with Jesus Christ and that makes the music more than just rock 'n roll. Influences have come from a wide variety of great bands and players from the 40's right up to the present and include everything from heavy rock to country and all that great stuff in between. The Peacemakers can be bluesy, and they can lay down some tight old school rock.. Swing is cool and country railroaders are not out of the question. Old hymns spiced up a bit are always on the set list and great crowd pleasers too. Some variety makes the soup tasty! |
